American Idol Shake-up
First it’s announced that Ellen DeGeneres is leaving the judges panel and then the next thing you know, reports are that Kara DioGuardi got the boot. So who, do you ask, is sitting at the judges table with Randy Jackson next season? What would you say to J.Lo and Steven Tyler? What the what? as Liz Lemon would so wisely put it.
Nothing has been announced as official. It’s just a bunch of reports of meetings and lunches. Reports have been circling about Nigel Lythgoe too so who the hell knows.
All I can say is that I haven’t watched American Idol in a while and J.Lo and Steven Tyler sitting at the table won’t make me tune in. Though it would be quite the coup in a certain sense, for me personally, it would make my opinion of both artists slip slightly (not that my opinion of J.Lo was ever on the high side). Can you say “has-been”? 
I guess we’ll just have to wait and see what actually happens.
