Cancelled Cancelled Everywhere
As the networks gear up for the Fall season, there were a slew of cancellation announcements this week some of which were shocking, some of which were not. Below is a list of some of the shows that won’t be returning:
• 24 – Goodbye Jack Bauer. You needed a rest. You’ve had a tough week (24 hours, 7 seasons, get it? I’m here all week people). Rumor is a movie is in the work. Make sure you make that nap count, Jack.
• Heroes – it’s been sucking lately but the first two seasons were pretty decent. I’ll miss the memory of better days
• The Ghost Whisperer – I never watched but I think many people were surprised to see it go as it’s been a consistent performer for CBS
• Cold Case – I love you, Cold Case. You always unexpectedly bring a tear to my eye at the end of most every episode. I’ll miss you though I didn’t love your time slot. Apparently, nobody else did either.
• Scrubs – this one dragged on for way too long anyway
• The Tudors – never watched but heard it was juicy. I’ll catch it on Netflix one of these days
• Law & Order - you will be missed but I hear that some network out there may be picking it up for at least one last season. I can hope, can’t I?
