Dina Bids RHONJ Good Riddance
Despite the fact that her entire family seems to be on the show, Dina Manzo announced in last night’s episode that she would be taking her leave. Seems the Danielle drama was just too much for Dina to handle.
Some may be surprised by her departure but I am not. Her involvement this season has been pretty limited. Where in the first season, there was a lot about Dina’s life (her career, her daughter, her involvement with the rest of the family), this season she’s only been seen here and there. And when you do see her, she’s mostly trying to distance herself from the drama.
Despite my lack of surprise, I’m sad to see Dina go. She’s pretty classy (as far as these shows go) and she’s funny. She gives the show a little something extra when she isn’t ensconced in the Danielle drama that seems to permeate everything. Now all we’ve got is one broke housewife, one mother hen, a meek mouse and a prostitution whore. Let the drama continue…
