This week on True Blood…
I’m a huge fan of the Sookie Stackhouse books but have only recently been taken in by the show. That being said, I’m now addicted. Ask my husband who was quite annoyed by the fact that I spent most of the weekend catching up on season 2 and the first couple of episodes of season 3 so that I ready in time for last night’s new episode. I remind you, husband, that you spend massive amounts of time watching every sport on the planet year round so I think I am owed my own TV-related addiction. Thank you very much.
Anyway, last night we saw the addition of the Alcide character to the mix and some interesting twists with Bill as the “guest” of the King of Mississippi. Though the show is decidedly different than the books, if you have read the books, you can still see where a lot of this is going. I just hope that the writers don’t speed through the material too fast and then run out of room before the show even hits its peak.
And give me more of that sexy beast Eric!!! Maybe it’s because I have read all of the books, but I tired of that drama queen Bill long, long ago. I’m much more interested in what Eric has to offer Sookie. *wink, wink, nudge nudge*
