Tiki, You Disappoint Me
Apparently, Tiki Barber is the latest celebrity unable to keep it in his pants. Reports by Fox Sports say that Tiki has left his wife of 11 years (who also just happens to be eight months pregnant) for a twenty something former NBC intern. The reports indicate that trouble in paradise may have begun a while ago, but apparently his wife only found out about the other woman late last year after the ex-Giants star moved out of their home. Tiki and his soon-to-be ex-wife have two young children other than their impending set of twins.
I must say that I’m extremely disappointed. He has always seemed like a really nice and geniune guy when you see him out and about. And according to the Fox News article, it is equally shocking because Tiki has always held quite the grudge against his own father, who apparently abandoned the family due in large part to his philandering. It’s one thing when the relationship just isn’t working out. But it’s another thing to jump into another woman’s bed and then call it quits. Then again, there are two sides to every story.
