All the votes are not in, but with only absentee ballots left to be counted, it looks like Democrat Peter Farrell will be joining Bryan Polk and Keith Miller, both of whom ran as independents.

We did not endorse Farrell, but I don’t think that any of us here at the newspaper think he is not capable of doing the job. If, after absentee ballots are counted, he is still the winner (and given the fact that he has the most votes in the race for the three open council seats, I think he will be), then we wish him the best of luck.

There are big things happening in Manassas Park, not least of which is the gigantic City Center project. Manassas Park has interesting times ahead, and now they have a Democrat to add to the council mix.
