Palin Homerun!

Words can hardly express the electrifying impact Vice Presidential Candidate Sarah Palin had on the Convention last night. For days now we have been treated to a daily drip from the left-wing media of how she was “too inexperienced”, that she should “stay home with her kids”, that she “wasn’t ready for primetime”, and that she had “family problems” that would some how make it impossible for her to be Vice President. Last night, Sarah Palin put all of that to rest in the minds of the delegates and people all across the nation. Even NBC (The “N” stands for “N” the tank for Obama) added their voice in praising Palin. But more importantly, she showed her principles, her commitment to serve, and she willingness to fight back against a tide of liberal rubbish and haughtiness.
In her speech, Palin set the predicate for the election of John McCain as the next President of the United Sates. She made it plainly clear to Barack Obama that Republicans are going to make an issue of his complete lack of experience and that we are very comfortable comparing McCain’s AND Palin’s experience to a “community organizer” who, to this day, refuses to even meet with McCain in a town hall meeting. Maybe he’s afraid that his lack of experience would be revealed?
Tonight we will hear from John McCain. As you watch, ask yourself who is more experienced, who has a real record of reform, and who is ready today to be commander-in-chief. As McCain says, this is an election about big things, not small things. The contrast is very clear. We have a reform-minded and experienced ticket while Democrats have nominated the most liberal ticket in their history. (And that’s a fact easily researched. In 2007 Obama scored 95.5% and Biden came in at 92.4%. You can find the facts at http://news.nationaljournal.com/articles/voteratings/ for yourself.)
Stay tuned for the McCain speech tonight. I am sure he will be impressive.
Jim,
Spot on!
The base has been nervous about McCain form Day 1. And we saw in his pick of Sarah, his first big decision in the campaign, that he went with a quality person who has conservative principles that are not informed by polls or focus groups. She doesn’t fit the ideal of big media and liberal elites who are so very confident these days…until last night.
She won’t be controlled by them. She will be controlled by her experience as a committed wife, mom, a councilwoman, a mayor, and a governor who won’t be pushed around.
Remember Jim, this wasn’t suppose to happen in the eyes of the media. They have “their one”. But all of a sudden, this dynamic lady pops out on the scene and disrupts the media notion, their self-fulfilling prophets. That’s why the liberals are so testy and angry. You’ll see more attacks. Many more. But Sarah’s ready. A Bulldog with lipstick!

Sarah Palin is perfect for the position as John McCain’s running mate and for the position of Vice President. She proved last night that she is articulate, inspirational and a fighter. Since her announcement, I have been apalled by the claims of the media that they have been seeking out the answers that everyone is clamoring, when in fact the media has been bringing to our attention non-campaign private family issues that have no place in the discussion of the leadership needed to move our country forward. I have renewed enthusiasm for John McCain’s campaign for President.
