Ted Kennedy and Michelle Obama Rock
Keith Scarborough
Aug 26, 2008

Monday night was a great kickoff to the convention!  I got to the Pepsi Center relatively early and got an aisle seat.  There is an MSNBC camera area just next to our delegation so I was able to see a series of guests being interviewed by Joe Scarborough (no relation) and David Gregory.  Got to see Spike Lee and shake hands with former Vice President Walter Mondale.

It was a great moment to see Senator Ted Kennedy as he passed the torch of leadership to Barack Obama and a new generation of leadership.  Michelle Obama gave a very moving speech and showed that she will be a compassionate, active First Lady!

I’m heading out to the delegation breakfast where we will hear from Senator Jim Webb.  And tonight is Mark Warner’s keynote speech as well as the speech from Hillary Clinton.  Another exciting day in Denver!
